Hello, we finally meet, and this handsome man with
me, is my wonderful hubby, Dick.
He goes everywhere I go, *ALMOST*   LOL-LOL-
We live in Iowa, a beautiful state with four beautiful seasons and lots of things to see and do..
I,ve only been on the computer about one and one half years now and the friends I have made, have helped to make me the person I am today. I am learning new things daily. The same as I am in my walk with God. There are so many beautiful web-sites out there to glorify our loving Saviors name and its a beautiful thing.
One can't help but learn from them.
I know God is far from through with me, as a matter of fact, Hes probably just gotten a good start.
I have just recently been blessed by God with the ability to start writing poetry, so bear with me, it might improve as we go along. *Smile*

           A "Diamond" In The Rough

A young couple had gone together for several years
and the young man felt it was time to "pop the question."
He chose the perfect evening,got a bottle of champagne and roses. Everything that he thought would make the evening a perfect setting.
He couldn't risk rejection, should she say
"NO."
He picked her up at seven o'clock and he took her back to his apt. where he had soft romantic music playing. He had surprised her with a wonderful meal he had prepared for her.
After dinner they sat in the living room, in front of the fireplace, the logs crackling. This seemed to be the perfect moment.
He slipped down on one knee, and removed a tiny package from his pocket.
Her eyes lit up and started to mist over. She had waited for this moment for so long.
He professed his love for her and slipped the beautiful diamond on her finger.
A diamond that is hand cut, for the perfect shape, then polished to perfection, just like God does with our lives if we allow Him to.
We begin, like a diamond in the rough, (a rock, if you will). Then as we grow and put our faith and trust in Jesus, God molds us and polishes us till we shine like a diamond, for his glory.
Accept Jesus as your loving Savior today and watch how He molds and polishes you. You will never regret this choice, my friend.    In Jesus' Love

Hole In Heaven

As a married couple, as we get older,
We become more concerned about the order of things
As to who might be the first,
To take that ride, on angels wings.
We've discussed this in depth,
So the one left behind won't be frightened
We love each other dearly, so we
want the other to be enlightened.
So now, my hubby comes to me with what,
He seems to feel is the perfect plan
He said,"Honey, if you go to heaven before I do,
Please bore a hole in a cloud and pull me through.
I replied,"I love you dearly
And I know we both want to be together
But I think God would prefer, if we wait,
And walk in one at a time through the Pearly Gates."

While I am being laid back
I like my pets real near
So I can pet & caress them
My love for them, I have made real clear.
