One Life

God gave us but one life to live,

He gave us choices to choose,

And an abundance of love to give

God wants us to be caring,

And feel for others less fortunate,

Our blessings we need to be sharing.

To show that we really care,

We need to give from our heart,

For others, we need to be there.

Talk is so very cheap,

It's the work that counts,

To see the rewards you will reap.

Teach us O' lord, each day,

To give hugs and kisses,

And for others to pray

Teach us to be there for others,

With hands all so giving,

This way, our life will be,

Really worth living

We need to count our blessings,

Everyday and let God teach us,

His wondrous way!
